General of Polish Army. Diplomat. Born in 1883, in Bobowa, Poland. Graduated from University of Lwow, Department of Medicine. In 1914 joined Legion of Pilsudski. Colonel of the 1st Regiment of Pilsudski's Legion. Commandant of Warsaw. Commandant of I Brigade of Pilsudski's Legion. He wrote: "Piekne Dni"; translated from French: Beaudelaer's works. Former aid-the-camp to Marshal Pilsudski. For several years ambassador of Poland to Italy until the break of war hostilities in 1939. Came to U.S. in 1940. Member of the editorial staff "Dziennik Polski" (Polish Daily), published in Detroit, Mich. Shortly before his death, appointed ambassador of Poland to Cuba. Died in New York, N. Y., July 2, 1942.
