Domachowski, Rt. Rev. Msgr. Michael
Born Sept. 29, 1875 in Poland. Ordained June 2, 1902 in St. Francis Seminary, St. Francis, Wis. Founder and pastor of St. Adalbert's Parish in Milwaukee, Wis. from March 26, 1908, to Sept. 18, 1909. From Sept. 26, 1909, to Feb. 2, 1940, served as pastor of St. Vincent Parish in Milwaukee, Wis. In 1935 nominated Monsignor of the diocese of Milwaukee, Wis. Very active in civic, national, and church affairs. For a long time chaplain of the fraternal organization "Stowarzyszenie Polakow w Ameryce" with main office in Milwaukee, Wis. During the first World War, accomplished much for the independence of Poland. Member of the Executive Board of Polish Priests Association of America. Died Feb. 2, 1940.
