Celinski, Zdzislaw
Engineer. Born in 1847 in Poland. Because of his participation in Polish insurrection in 1863 against Russia, forced to leave Poland and migrated to Argentine, S. A.; engaged as railroad builder. President of the expedition to build Grand Chaco in 1900, an extensive central tract of S. A., bounded on the East by the Paraguay and Parana, and on the West by the Argentine provinces of Santiago del Estero and Salta's area about 180,000 square miles. Died in 1929.
