Chodzinski, Ladislaus Carol
Painter. Born in 1857 in Lancut, Poland; the son of Carol and Sophie Dubielowski. Received his secondary education in Rzeszow, Poland. He graduated from the Art Academy in Krakow under John Matejko and Henry Siemiradzki in Poland. In 1904 came to U.S.; in 1905 decorated the Church of St. Hyacinth in Dunkirk, N. Y. and in 1906 the St. John Kanty Church in Buffalo, N. Y. Three beautiful pictures painted by him are in Holy Trinity Church, Niagara Falls, N. Y.From: "Who's Who in Polish America" by Rev.
