Cwojdzinski, Anthony
Playwright. Author of several plays. His play "Einstein's Theory" was performed in Warsaw, Poland alone 525 times. Twice awarded Reynold Prize for the best play. Left Poland after the Nazis occupied Warsaw in September, 1939. As an eye witness of the siege of Warsaw, capital of Poland, he wrote a play "Fifth Column in Warsaw," which was shown in England and in the United States. He came to U.S. in 1940.
