Civic leader. Born on February 1, 1885. Attended St. Stanislaus parochial school and public school No. 33 in Buffalo, N. Y. He was the first Pole elected a member of the Board of Education in Buffalo, 1926-1931. Former councilman of the city of Buffalo. Since 1918, he is national president of Polish Union of America, a fraternal organization with headquarters in Buffalo. Since 1939 he is president of Relief Committee of District No. 8, Polish American Council.
