Felician Order. Teacher. Principal. Provincial-superior. Born Oct. 24, 1872 in Dziewierzewo, Poland. Daughter of John and Michalina Bialecka. In 1873 emigrated with her parents to Toledo, Ohio. Studied at St. Hedwig's School, Toledo, Ohio; Seminary of the Felician Sisters, Detroit, Mich.; Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, Pa. Graduated from Seton Hill College, Greensburg, Pa. Teacher from 1888-1920. Superior and Principal of the various elementary and High Schools from 1902-1920. First Provincial of the Pittsburgh Province, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, at McKeesport, Pa., from 1920-1926. Member of Provincial Council of Detroit Province from 1932 to date. The following activities mark her career as provincial-superior: 1920, St. Cyprian School, Pittsburgh, Pa.; 1922, St. Stanislaus School, Ambridge Pa.; 1922, St. Genevieve School, Canonsburg, Pa.; 1925, St. Anthony School, Ranshaw, Pa.; 1926, St. Mary's School, Lafferty, Ohio; 1926, Assumption School, Oil City, Pa. Resides at the Motherhouse, Villa St. Felix, Plymouth, Mich.
