Czerwonka, Walter S.
Professor. The son of Anthony and Margaret Czerwonka; graduated from Holyoke High School in 1930. Awarded B.A. degree by Rider College in 1933 and B.S. degree in education by Rutgers University in 1936. In 1939 appointed professor of Mathematics and Accounting at Northampton Commercial College, Northampton, Mass. Active as an undergraduate in baseball, boxing, hockey, track athletics and golf. Socially prominent, president the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, organizer, president of the Polish University Club and a member of the Newman Club.
