Korsak, Rev. Norbert, S.J.
Professor. Born June 7, 1773 in Polock, Poland. Joined the Jesuit Order on Aug. 28, 1788. Professor of Mathematics at the Jesuit College in Polock (now Russia, formerly Poland). In 1805 arrived in America to take care of spiritual needs of Polish Immigrants. After five years of hard work returned in 1810 to England, where he taught until his death in Stonyhurst College. Died in 1846 in Stonyhurst, England.
