The Polish American Citizen's CIub (PACC) was organized in Los Angeles, California, in 1913, with these specific goals and objectives:

To assist Polish immigrants to find housing and employment; to help them to learn the language and prepare for citizenship; to help them obtain business licenses or permits and to qualify for driver's licenses; to introduce them to community resources and organizations or to appropriate agencies or sources for whatever needs they had.

Additionally, the PACC fostered principles of American citizenship and promoted an active interest in civic affairs among its membership; it provided for the cultural and educational advancement of members and perpetuated Polish culture by encouraging study of Polish traditions. It also cultivated goodwill and cooperation between members by promoting social events, plays, and entertainments.

The establishment of Samopomoc, a self-help organization, by the post World War II Polish immigrants, lessened the need for service to the Polish community by the PACC. In January, 1983, it was decided to dissolve the organization. The assets were then distributed to Polish non-profit, tax exempt organizations in the Los Angeles area. After 75 years of vital service to the Polish - American Community, the Polish Citizens CIub dissolved.
