Polish American Community Center of Southern California

Organized to receive and administer funds for charitable and/or public purposes

Gene Harubin Zygmont

The Polish American Community Center of Southern California Inc., (PACC), was incorporated in the State of California on August 9, 1991. It was organized to receive and administer funds for charitable and/or public purposes but, more specifically, to establish a special community center in metropolitan Los Angeles.

The PACC is exempted from Federal and State taxes by the IRS and the Franchise Tax Board. It is completely independent of any control by other organizations and will serve the entire Polish-American community in Southern California.

To date, the Polish Center, Polish American Congress, Southern California Division and the Polish National Alliance, Group 700, also have pledged financial support. Other Polish organizations and individuals have expressed interest in the project and it is expected that the project will have widespread community support.

Currently, a committee is investigating the availability of desirable properties in suitable locations and exploring ways of additional funding.

The Directors and Officers of the PACC are: Chris Ciesiolokiewicz-Kolski, President and Chairman of the Board of Directors; Stanislaw Grzanka, Vice President and member of the Board; Marek Trocinski, Secretary and Treasurer; Teodor Polak, M.D.; Jozef Ladowicz and Henryka Lazarz, members of the Board of Directors.
