Schweda, Mary. Very Rev. Mother Mary Pia
Superior General of the Felician Sisters. Order of St. Francis of Assissi. Born August 17, 1866, in Poland. Came to America as a child. Entered the Felician Sisters Convent in Detroit, Mich., October 24, 1884. Has been a Supervisor of Schools from 1910 to 1921. Member of the General Council from 1921 to 1932. Superior General of the Community since 1932. Resides in Krakow, Poland, at the General Motherhouse.
