Emil J. Babiarz (1923 - 1992)

Businessman, grocer

Emil J. Babiarz of Chicago and son of immigrant Polish grocers died in the age 69.

Babiarz founded several food and candy companies. In 1962, he established
Dae-Julie Inc. in Des Plaines, after being a salesman for food brokerage companies. The company has become one of the largest U.S. candy importers and distributors.
