Babski, Rev. Anselm, C.R.
Born March 6, 1870 in Grabow, Poland. Secondary education at Lubawa, Poland; Philosophy and Theology in Rome; ordained June 8, 1895. Came to U.S. and assisted at various parishes in Chicago, Ill. On May 10, 1899 appointed pastor of St. Hyacinth's parish, Avondale, Ill. where he remained ten years. Died Feb. 2, 1925, in Chicago, Ill.
