Frank J. Babuska (1919 - 2003)

Shelby Twp., MI - On December 14, 2003, Frank J. Babuska, 85, of Shelby Township, MI, passed away from complications of congestive heart failure.

Frank was born in Detroit, MI, the son of Joseph and Cora (nee Polaczyk) Babuska. He was a Veteran of the US Army and served in World War II.

Fondly known by many as "Babs", was had previously been a business owner of a bar/restaurant "Bab's Bar" in Detroit, MI, where he resided before moving to Shelby Township eleven years ago. He was well known for the support he provided to youth in the area and for his love of sports activities.

Mr. Babuska was preceded in death by his wife and business partner, Helen. He is survived by two children, Dan (Karen) Babuska and Janet Babuska, three
grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters.

Frank Babuska will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Mr. Babuska was a member of PRCUA Society #718. May he rest in eternal peace.
