Bakos, Joseph G.
Artist-painter. Born in Buffalo, N. Y. Received a second prize at San Francisco Fair. Professor in the School of Art, Denver University, Colorado, specialty landscape painting. One of his best works is "Cactus"; his most outstanding paintings are in the following museums:
Rodrick, Whitney, Brooklyn, San Francisco and Denver. Resides in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
