Dorothy E. (Stewart) Baldyga, a sewing machine operator, died Saturday, April 30, 2005, at Mercy Suburban Hospital in Norristown. She was 83.

Mrs. Baldyga, of Conshohocken, worked for Artex Knitting Mill.
She was a member of St. Mary's RC Church, Conshohocken.

Mrs. Baldyga enjoyed cooking and entertaining her family and friends, especially on holidays, and playing bingo.

She was the wife of the late Frank A. Baldyga.

Born Nov. 17, 1921, in West Conshohocken, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Emaline (Griffith) Stewart.

Surviving are a daughter, Marlene and her husband, John Franklin, of Conshohocken; a sister, Frances Slater of King of Prussia; a grandson, Nicholas Carroll of Phoenixville; a granddaughter, Laura Carroll of Conshohocken; several nieces and nephews, who treated her like their own mother; many wonderful neighbors and her buddies Caesar and Gizmo. She was predeceased by a son, Francis J.

The funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 4, at the St. Mary's RC Church, Elm and Maple Streets, Conshohocken, with Msgr. Robert J. Grudowski officiating.

Interment will be at St. Benedict's Cemetery in Conshohocken.

Friends may call Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Moore and Snear Funeral Home, 300 Fayette St., Conshohocken.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's RC Church, 140 W. Hector St., Conshohocken, PA 19428.
