Clara Teresa Balicki (1921 - 2001)

Clara Teresa Balicki, 80, of Miami, FL. Formerly of New Britain Connecticut, went to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ on Thursday, Sept. 20th, 2001.

Beloved wife of the late John Balicki. She was a active member of St. Stephens Church. She was charter member of St. James Catholic Church in North Miami and held many offices. Was organizer of the Handmaids of the Blessed Sacrament at St. James.

With profound sorrow, her family mourns her passing. Her family was her life. Loving mother of sons John, Richard, Tommy, Michael, Gregg, the late David Balicki, and daughter Barbara. Mother-in-law of Vicky, Betty, Debbie, Carole, Pam, Ellen and son-in-law Tony. Grandmother of Todd, Sean, Crissie, Jennifer, Michael, Jason, Cory, Chad, Briana, Natalee, Melanie, Casey, Carty and Taylor. Great grandmother of Brandon, Nicholas, Ryan and Libby. Loving sister of Wally Sapko and Ed Sapko. Loving aunt of Lorriane, Carol, Doris and Nancy. Dearest Godmother or Carol and Susan. Dearest friend Helen Banasiewicz of Connecticut. Dearest aunt of Marcia Coffey and Maureen Murray.

Visitation will be on Monday, September 24th, 2001 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Boyd's Funeral Home 6400 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood, FL, tel. (954) 983 6400. Mass service will be held on Tuesday, September 25th, 2001 at St. Stephens Catholic Church at 10 AM, 2000 South State Road 7, Miramar, FL, tel. (954) 983-1100.
