Deputy Warden, Korean War veteran

Joseph A. Bamberski, died suddenly on April 22, 2006, at the age of 73.

Beloved husband of Joan (nee Mis), of Willingboro NJ. Devoted father of Catherine Mary "Cathy" Palma, Joseph (Loretta) Bamberski, Stephen (Shelly) Bamberski and John Bamberski. Stepfather of Donna Hall and JoAnn (Bernie) Marsh. Loving grandfather of Anthony, Nicholas, William and Allison Palma, Joseph, Matthew and Katie Bamberski and Gabrielle Bamberski. Loving step grandfather of Jay (Tosha) Schneider and Jessica Marsh. Dear brother of CIare Bamberski and the late Marie Cantando. Dear uncle of Marian (Dan) Lavanga, Marie (Joel) Reitzes, Joseph (Wendy) Cantando, and the late John Cantando. Also surviving are many great nieces and great nephews.

Joe was born and raised in Philadelphia and was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War. He was employed for 20 years with the Philadelphia Prison System and retired as Deputy Warden. He was a member of the Cape May Co. Emerald Society, the Elks Lodge #2311 and the Moose Lodge #585 both of North Wildwood and the Villas Fishing Club.

Relatives and friends invited to attend his Funeral Mass Friday, 11 A.M., at Mater Ecclesiae Church, 261 Crosskeys Road, Berlin NJ, where friends may call that morning from 9:30 to 10:45 A.M.
