Lorain, OH - Laurel and Steve Bansek, both members of PRCUA Society #2159 - part of the Alliance of Poles Division in Ohio - are members of the Advisory Board. Steve is Treasurer and Laurel is Director from Lorain, Ohio. The couple shares their Polish heritage with elementary school classes.

Attired in authentic Polish folk dress imported directly from the town of Bilgoraj, Poland, they tell of the customs, language, foods and traditions of the people of Poland. In addition they show the students artifacts from Poland, such as letters written in Polish an elaborately tooled leather belt, the flag of Poland and crests from various regions.

This is their way of making a meaningful contribution toward expanding the cultural horizons of youngsters in Ohio. Congratulations to Steve and Laurel. Keep up the good work!
