Charles Banski (1930 - 2008)
Machinist, Korean War Veteran

Charles 'Chuck' Banski, a retired machinist, died at the Phoenixville Hospital on Oct. 19, 2008. He was 78.

Mr. Banski resided in Audubon, and was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Church. He was a selfemployed machinist. Born in Hunlock Creek, PA on July 1, 1930, he was a son of the late Karol Banski. He was a Korean War Veteran having served with the U.S. Army.

Mr. Banski was the husband of Stella (Melko) Banski. Also surviving is a daughter Kathleen Banski, Carlisle. Preceding him in death were a brother Michael Banski and a sister Wanda Smith.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass on Friday, Oct. 24 at 10 a.m. at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 1260 S. Trooper Rd., Audubon. Friends may call on Friday from 9-10 A.M. at the Church. Burial will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, Bridgeport. Arrangements are by the Szpindor Funeral Home, 101 N. Park Ave., (Rt. 363 N.) Trooper.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Kitty Cottage, 317 West Johnson Highway, E. Norriton, PA 19401.
