Nadia H. Baranik (1931 - 2011)
Religious M.S.M.G.

Mother Nadia Helen Baranik, M.S.M.G., age 80, fell asleep in the Lord on Friday, Jan. 21 2011.

Originally from Olyphant PA., she was the daughter of the late Jordan and Anna (Kravetsky). Sr. Nadia in her 65th year of Religious Life, had served the last 8 as Mother General of her monastic community. She professed final vows as a Missionary Sister of Mother of God on Jan. 1, 1957.

Beloved sister of Olga Jadick, Teddy Norovich, Ann Bartnicki, Andrew and the late Metro, Al, Helen and Mary Guralny.

Her viewing will begin 5 P.M. Wednesday, at the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 830 N. Franklin St., (Parastas 6 P.M.). Funeral Thursday, viewing at 9 A.M., Requiem Divine Liturgy at 10 A.M.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Missionary Sisters of Mother of God, 711 N. Franklin St., Philadelphia, PA 19123.
