Maria (Peruzki) Bartasch of West Norriton entered the hereafter on January 11, 2010 at Parkhouse after a long illness at the age of 88.

The daughter of Andreas and Katerina (Topilniska) Peruzki, Maria was born in Strilky, Poland on May 24, 1921. She immigrated to the United States with her husband and three small children in 1951.

In addition to being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she worked as a machine operator at Synthane Taylor in Oaks retiring in 1986.

She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, cooking, gardening and sewing.

Maria is survived by her devoted husband of 62 years, John Bartasch; sons: Anton of Royersford, John (Lynn) of Barto, William (Rose) of Schwenksville; and a daughter, Marguerite (Sean) McMahon of Lower Providence. She was preceded in death by a son, Walter, killed in Vietnam October 1969.

She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Matasha (Pete) Bartasch-Price, Maria (Keith) Olinick, Becky (Pete) Agler, Sean McMahon, Walter McMahon, Melanie (Mike) Bartasch-Boehret, and Bridget McMahon; and five great grandchildren: Rowan, twins Peyton and Braeden Price, and Alaina and Colton Olinick.

Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service in Maria's honor at Jeffersonville Golf Club, 2400 Main Street, Jeffersonville, PA 19403 on Sunday, January 17 from 12 noon to 3 pm.

In lieu of other expression of sympathy, the family has requested that memorial donations in her name be made to The Parkhouse Residents Fund, 1600 Black Rock Road, Royersford, PA 19468. Auer Cremation Services of Pa., Inc.
