2nd Jet Li Film By Polish Director Polish cinematographer/director Andrzej Bartkowiak is set to film another action-pack/adrenaline-rush film with Jet Li.

After the success of "Romeo Must Die'', which high-kicked Jet Li into an international stardom, Bartkowiak will direct a similar story - when an international criminal kidnaps the daughter of a gang leader as part of a diamond heist, it causes a city's police to engage in an intensive search (led by a government agent played by Li), aided by the father's gangsters. The film is set to be released by the end of this year. "

Pole's Movie Doing Well in US

The film "Cradle 2 The Grave", directed by Andrzej Bartkowiak, earned $17.1 million during its first weekend after going on release in the US and Canada. The film made along action-thriller lines tells the story of a gangster whose daughter has been kidnapped, and whose kidnappers are demanding diamonds as ransom. It stars American rapper DMX and the Chinese-born martial-arts champion Jet Li. Andrzej Bartkowiak, one of Hollywood's best-known directors of photography, made his directorial debut three years ago, and "Cradle 2 The Grave" is the third film he has directed and the only one so far to make it big. He was in charge of the photography of such movies as "Prizzi's Honor" (1985), "Speed" and "Devil's Advocate".
