Frank Bartosevich (1924 - 2006)

Security guard, WW II veteran

Frank Bartosevich, 82, of White Haven, died Saturday afternoon, Oct. 14, 2006, in Davis Manor, Wright Township.

Born in Freeland, he was the son of the late Paul and Annette (Wysocky) Bartosevich, and lived in White Haven all of his life.

A World War II veteran of the Army, he retired from Graterford State Correctional Institution, where he was employed as a security guard.

He was a member of Presbyterian Church of White Haven and American Legion Post 0473, Freeland, and was a lifetime member of VFW Post 5010, Freeland, where he was voted Man of the Year in 1989.

Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were brothers, Paul, Edward and Anthony; and a sister, Helen. Surviving are his wife, the former Virginia Searfoss; sons, John Peter Kinney and Joseph Michael Kinney, both of White Haven; a brother, Joseph; sisters, Delores Butz and Bernadine Motzkus; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. from Joseph E. Lehman Funeral Home Inc., 403 Berwick St., White Haven. The Rev. Thomas MacAdam, his pastor, will officiate. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
