Bartosz, Adam
Journalist, editor and poet. Born in Gora Ropczyska, Poland, Jan, 13, 1894. Came to America in October, 1913. Graduated from University of Baltimore and received LL.B. degree. Began newspaper work with "Postep," Baltimore, Md. in 1917; from 1921 to 1937 editor "Jednosc-Polonia," Baltimore, Md.; from October, 1937 to date editor of "Gwiazda Polarna" and "Rolnik," Stevens Point, Wis. Author of three act drama "Szczescie w Ojczyznie," Baltimore, 1918; "Szara Godzina," a compilation of Polish verse, Baltimore, 1934. Married, has four children, two in the U.S. Army. Organized Polish Students Club in Baltimore. Active in Polish National Alliance of U.S. of No. America, singing societies; lecturer.
