Beger, John
Civic leader. Born in Poland, where he was educated. Came to Detroit, Mich. from Gnesen, Poland in 1897. Co-founder of a daily paper "Rekord Codzienny" in Detroit, Mich. Member and for some time president of Nest 31 Polish Falcons of America. Member of Civic Council; took part in recruiting the Polish army in America in 1917-18. Active in collecting money for the needy children in Poland. Died in 1937, in Detroit, Mich.
