Graduate of St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute. Attended University College, University of Buffalo, later studied at School of Medicine Univ. of Buffalo. from which he received M.D. degree in 1920. Served internship at Buffalo Sisters Hospital and St. Johns General Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. Married Julia S. Nieplowicz. September 11, 1916. Has three children: Edward J., Jr., FIorian E. and Vincent R.
Engaged in general practice of medicine until January, 1927. Pursued post graduate studies in the diseases of eye, ear, nose and throat in the following institutions:
New York Post-Graduate Medical School and Hospital, New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, St. Catherine's Hospital, Brooklyn, N. Y. Also continued his post graduate medical studies abroad in foreign countries, namely:
