Bieniawski, Joseph
Liberator and patriot. One of the greatest heroes of Mexican Independence. From 1813 to 1822, adjutant and right hand man of Augustine, Iturbide, liberator of Mexico. Bieniawski remained true to his ideology and Polish traditions even after Iturbide betrayed the Independence movement, proclaiming himself Emperor of Mexico and conspired with the Spanish Monarchists, Killed in 1823 by Iturbide at Vera Cruz.
