Blechert, John
Artist-painter, sculptor. Born in Poland. Studied art in Poland, England and France. Came to America in 1935. Decorated P.N.A. museum in Chicago, Ill. In 1936 made a bronze tablet in honor of Thaddeus Kosciuszko, which is placed in the rotunda of the U. S. Court House in Chicago, Ill.
