Bobkiewicz, Rt. Rev. Msgr. Ladislaus, P.P.
Born on February 12, 1869, in LaSalle, Ill.; completed local grammar school, attended High School, College and Theological Seminary at St. Francis, Wis.; ordained December 19, 1891 in Detroit, Mich. For some time was engaged in religious work in Nebraska. Pastor of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, Rutland, Ill., 1894-1910. In April, 1910, appointed pastor of St. Hyacinth's Parish, LaSalle, Ill. October 20, 1931 became Domestic Prelate of His Holiness Pope Pius XI. Nominated diocesan consultor and member of the Clergymen's Aid Society in the Diocese of Peoria. Residence: 927 - 10th St., LaSalle, Ill.
