Bodanzky, Artur
Opera conductor. Born 1878. Metropolitan Opera Conductor for many years. He was famous for his interpretations of Wagner. There were very few German operas given at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York from 1915 to 1939 that he did not conduct. Died Nov. 23, 1939 in New York, N. Y.
