Teacher, writer. Born Feb. 22, 1896 in Zyrardow, Poland. Came to U.S., settling in Philadelphia in 1905. Educated in public schools in Philadelphia, and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania. Teacher of English at the Philadelphia H.S. for Girls. Author of: "After Thirty Years, Poland Revisited" and "House of Tuttle." Was on the committee for Polish Relief Inc. Married Wywan A. Bristol in 1926 in Philadelphia. In 1935 visited Poland.
