Brunona, Mother Maria
The first Mother Provincial of the province of the Felician Sisters in Buffalo, N. Y., in 1900. She contributed much to the growth of the Felician Order by preparing adequate plans and programs for the parochial schools according to the diocesan plans. Besides standardizing the teaching for all schools under the tutelage of this Order, the teachers were obliged to take state examinations before the state commissions.
