Buczynski, Rev. Bonaventure, O.F.M.
Missionary. Pastor in Poland Corner (Polonia), 1863-1867. He built here the first Polish church in Wisconsin. He was a missionary in China, Chile before he came to U.S. Pastor of St. Stanislaus parish, Milwaukee, Wis., 1867-68. In 1868 left for Northeim, Wis., where he organized a new parish of St. Casimir. He remained here until October 15, 1870. In 1870 left for Princeton, and Berlin, where he died in 1872.
