Budzik, Walter Mitchell
Dentist. First Lieutenant in U.S. Army. Born in Chicopee, Mass., December 3, 1911; son of Matthew and Josephine (Ziemba) Budzik. Studied at St. John Kanty Prep and College, Erie, Pa., from 1924 to 1929. Attended Syracuse University from 1929 to 1931. Studied dentistry at Temple University Dental School, Philadelphia, Pa., from 1935 to 1939 and received from same degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. Manager of American Stores Co., 1931-35. From 1939 to 1942 general practitioner of dentistry at Germantown, Philadelphia, Pa. Entered U.S. armed forces in May, 1942. In 1941 dental examiner of N.Y.A. Was very active in church activities and acted as usher at Immaculate Conception Church. Member of Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania State and American Dental Associations. During his senior year at Temple University Dental School was class treasurer and very active in scientific societies. Member of Temple Alumni Club. Conducted dental office at 910 E. Chelten Ave., Philadelphia, Pa. During 1942 stationed at Camp Maxey, Paris, Texas.
