Pacholski, Rt. Rev. Msgr. Jacob
Clergyman. Born May 24, 1862 in Paczewo, Poland. Secondary education in Pelplin and Wejherowo. Studied theology in Louvain, Belgium. Ordained June 18, 1886 in St. Paul, Minn. From 1894 until July 27, 1932 pastor of St. Stanislaus parish, Winona, Minn. In 1918 appointed Monsignor. Founder of St. Casimir's parish, Winona, Minn. Very active in the publishing of the Polish Weekly "Wiarus." In 1908 elected Grand Chaplain of Polish Union of America. Diocesan exammnator of clergy and diocesan consultor. Died July 27, 1932.
