Teacher. Born June 15, 1914 in New York City. Education: St. Adalbert's parochial school, Prospect Heights and South Water Avenue School; graduated from Sharon High School in 1931; Slippery Rock State Teachers College, receiving a Normal School Certificate in 1933 (Honor student). From 1933 to 1934 substitute teacher in Sharon Public schools. Since
1934 teaching in Sharon Public schools. On Aug. 9, 1941 received B.S. degree in Education from Pennsylvania State College. On June 30, 1942 married Thaddeus Pelc of Sharon, Pa. Member: Nature Study Club, Y.W.C.A., K. P. Club, P.H.C., Mercer County Teachers Ass'n; State Teachers Ass'n; Sacred Heart parish; Catholic. Spent three years specializing in naturalization work.
