Pelczar, Rev. Adalbert
Clergyman. Born in Korczyna, Poland. Studied theology in Rome, Italy. In 1877 as a student of theology came to U.S., settling in San Antonio, Texas, where he was ordained in 1878. From 1878 to 1881 pastor of St. Mary's parish, Czestochowa, Texas, and from 1881 to 1884 at St. Hedwigs parish, St. Hedwig's, Texas. From 1880-1882 was in charge of St. Stanislaus parish, Bandera, Tex., and in 1884 at St. Michael's, San Antonio, Texas.
