Petlak, Joseph B.
Civic leader. Born June 28, 1878 in Poznan, Poland. In 1884 together with his parents came to Chicago where he settled. Primary education at St. Stanislaus and St. Hedwig's parochial schools. For some time alderman of Chicago. In 1901 elected for the first time assemblyman to the State Legislature of Illinois, and reelected in 1903. Resides in Chicago, Ill.
