Piechowski. Rev. John, C.R.
Clergyman. Born Dec. 26, 1863 in Stawiski, Poland. Education: Elementary and secondary at Koscierzyna; philosophy and theology in Rome and Lwow; ordained in 1891, and sent to America in 1891. In Sept. 1891 became professor of St. Stanislaus College, Chicago. Ill., and in 1892 rector until 1895. From 1895 until 1909 pastor of St. Hedwig's parish. Chicago, Ill. where he built a magnificent church. From 1909 until 1912 rector again of St. Stanislaus College, Chicago, Ill. From 1912 to 1921 pastor of St. John Kanty parish. Died April 19, 1921.
