Pietrzykowski, Alexander
Physician. Born in Poland in 1878. Lived in Chicago since 1893. Graduate of College of Medicine and Surgery in Chicago. One of the organizers of the Polish Army in America during World War I. Volunteered and won majors rank. Organized the Sanitary Corps in Poland; organized the Polish Army Veterans' Association, and the Polish Army Officers' Association. In 1921 organized the Polish Army Auxiliary Corps in Chicago. Soldier and patriot. Author of a book: "Zapiski i Wspomnienia, 1917-1927." Died 1929 in Chicago, Ill.
