Pitass, Bernard J.
Merchant. Born July 18, 1869 in Niemieckie Piekary, Silesia, Poland. Graduated from Canisius College. In 1897 elected county supervisor and in 1899 re-elected to the same post. In 1903 elected councilman of the city of Buffalo, and re-elected in 1905. Member of many societies: Union of Poles in America, Moniuszko Singing Society, Polish National Alliance. Married to Mary Lasiewicz. In 1901 founded a dry goods store. Very active in social affairs. Resides in Buffalo, N. Y.
