Podbielski, Joseph
Literary critic. In Poland was a tutor for Count Zamojski's family. About 1860 he came to New York, N. Y., where he helped to translate Krasinski's "Undivine Comedy." Translated also prose and poetry; later went to Mexico. While in United States wrote several articles about Arians and Socinians, also about an eminent Polish philosopher, Trentowski.
