Sylvia Pogorzelski

Miss New Jersey, U.S.A. 2005

Sylvia Pogorzelski, 19, of East Hanover, was crowned on October 31, 2004, as Miss New Jersey U.S.A. 2005.

Sylvia, a graduate of Hanover Park High School, competed against 99 other contestants from New Jersey. A dancer since the age of seven, Sylvia enjoys a variety of styles, includiing ballet, tap, jazz, and hip-hop, but the two styles of dance she loves most are baliroom and Latin dancing.

She is currently attending Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ, and is working on a B.S. degree in Business Administration with a concentration in international studies. In the future she would like to study abroad. Sylvia will be competing for the title of Miss U.S.A. 2005 in the spring.
