Graduate of the University of Chicago, Ph.B.; Marquette University, College of Law, LL.B.; and of Northwestern University Law School, J.D.; graduate work in the Department of Political Science at the University of Chicago. Admitted to the Bar in both Illinois and Wisconsin. Assistant general attorney from 1925 until elected Judge of the City Court of Calumet City, in 1933. Presided in the Circuit and Juvenile Courts of Cook County and in the Court of Chicago Heights. Member of the Chicago, Illinois and American Bar Associations, Delta Theta Phi; Academy of Political Science; City Club of Chicago: Elks; Eagles; American Legion; Polish Alma Mater; P.R.C.U.; Chicago Society of P.N.A.
