Potok, Stephen
Attorney-at-law. Born in Philadelphia, Pa., Aug. 18, 1910. Educated in the elementary and secondary schools of Philadelphia. Graduate of Temple University from which he received B.S. degree and in 1937 awarded LL.B. degree. Appointed assistant district attorney by the District Attorney of Philadelphia in 1938 and in which capacity he remained until 1942. Member: Polish National Alliance and numerous other organizations. One of the outstanding Poles in Philadelphia. Active in politics and civic affairs. Former president of Polish National Committee in the city of Philadelphia, Pa. Organizer and president of Polish Republican Committee in the state of Pennsylvania. Member of Philadelphia Bar Association and Pennsylvania Bar Association. Joined the U.S. armed forces in 1942 and now in active duty in the U.S. Army.
