Felician Order. Teacher. Principal. Supervisor. Born Sept. 23, 1863 in Dunkirk, N. Y.; daughter of John and Agnes Surma. Studied at Sacred Heart School in Polonia, Wis. Graduated from the Seminary of the Felician Sisters, Detroit, Mich. in 1880. Teacher from 1880-1888. Assistant to Mistress of Novices from 1888-1890. Principal of the Academy of the Felician Sisters in Detroit, Mich. from 1896-1901. Member of the Provincial Council; supervisor and organizer of parochial schools from 1901-1913. Principal and teacher in various schools from 1913-1936. Resides at the Motherhouse, Villa St. Felix, Plymouth, Mich.
