Sadowski, Michael Joseph
Editor. Born June 22, 1857 in Warsaw, Poland. Secondary education and university in Warsaw (medical and dental departments). In 1881 came to U.S., settling in Chicago, Ill., where he became an editor of "Gazeta Chicagoska." In 1887 editor of "Kuryer Chicagoski" and in 1888 editor of "Polak w Ameryce." From 1888 to 1891 editor of "Echo." From 1891 to 1900 editor of "Dziennik Narodowy." General Secretary of the Polish National Alliance, and for some time editor of the humorous weekly "Kukuryku." Nicknamed "Pankiewicz." Died in 1900.
