Attended St. Ann's parochial school, Public School No. 23 and St. Peter's Prep, Jersey City, N. J. In 1931 received B.S. degree from Georgetown University, Washington, D. C. Studied law at John Marshall College of Law, Jersey City, from which he received LL.B. degree in 1935. Served his clerkship in the law offices of Charles Egan and Thomas R. Armstrong, Jersey City, N. J. Admitted to New Jersey State Bar in 1935 and since that time engaged in the general practice of law. Married Frances Gormley in 1933. Children: Anthony J. and Mary Ann. Member of New Jersey State Bar Association, Association of Sons of Poland, Knights of Columbus, Georgetown Alumni Association, President of Polish American Democratic Club, 10th ward. Elected assemblyman from Hudson County to the New Jersey State Legislature for a term of two years, 1942-44.
